I have been accepted to all the schools I've applied to (SAS, SEBS, engineering, business, etc.) If I want to double major and minor in three completely different areas, how do I choose just ONE school? I feel like every school has different prerequisites, and I can't fulfill them for all three schools that I am interested in if I have to go with one. Also, does the school I choose have anything to do with the campus I choose to live on? I'm obviously very confused. Any insight would be very helpful, so please reply. Thanks!

You should choose the school for the major you are most interested in and want a degree for. Any double degrees/minors will show up on your transcript, but not on your diploma. (I know this is true for the School of Engineering; you’ll have to do your own research for the other schools.) You must choose one school and fulfill that one’s required courses; required courses for your second major or minor do not include the required courses for those schools.
(You can look at required courses for majors/minors at Rutger’s Degree Navigator under Programs of Study and “Search Programs”; http://dn.rutgers.edu)

Different schools are focused on different campuses. For instance, Engineering is mainly on Busch and SEBS is mainly on Cook/Douglass. (SAS is all over the place depending on your classes, but a lot of liberal arts classes are on College Ave.) For your own convenience, you’d probably prefer to dorm closer to your classes although I know some people live on completely different campuses than their major/school and are fine with it. You are free to choose where you live; you just have to take both the pros and cons.

Thanks a lot. This was really helpful.
