Choosing an Internship at a Lab

So I'm trying to get a summer internship (and hopefully over the school year) this summer. I am not applying for a program rather I'm contacting a various number of people on a list from the director of a now non-existent program. The place I am trying to get an internship is at the Weill-Cornell Medical Center (or School if you prefer). I need help narrowing down my choices even though because I don't think I'm the ideal candidate I'm probably going to end up sending a nice email to 90something people.
I am looking for:
1. Topics that interest me. Basically anything that is hands-on experiments. (testing dangerous chemicals on virus for example, whereas counting certain number of cells to collect data would not be in my top list of choices, or tracing pretty neurons all day). I like most things that are alive. I'm not interested in massive amounts of paperwork. I'm also not interested in cleaning equipment for a whole summer or longer.
2. Winning topic? I'm trying to get an internship to learn==>do science fair==>win city finals==>Intel ISEF, but moreso I really want to do Intel (and win)
3. A big enough lab to be able to do something I am interested in, but small enough that I can obtain help from the other people in the lab. If I'm going to do the Intel Science Competition I need a mentor that'll help me and not someone who's out looking for a cheap secretary.
4. A lab that will take high school students. The list is actually mainly for college students interested in research before applying for medical school. Since I'm a 16 year old, I know that I simply won't have enough knowledge compared to college students. I'm looking for one in the below list that will accept my ignorance.
5. A lab that I can actively help my superiors with their work (i.e. able to work on some part of their current project, help write a paper, help them with experiments (but not just data collection) or something like that)

Oh! I'm also hunting for suggestions for key points/questions in my nice email. And I am aware I'll probably be interviewed if they like what i say etc.

Each letter is a different lab description.
