This week is the time to choose classes for my junior year, and I’m not entirely sure about what to take. I’m definitely going to go into a STEM major, but I’m kinda split. I know some courses that I’m definitely going to take. These are:
AP Lang/Comp
AP World History
AP Spanish Lang
MV Calculus Diff Eq
Foundations of Tech/Research project A (I have to do a “senior research project” and this is a required course)
Applied Statistics (1 semester)
I still have a lot of space for class selection, and I’m wondering what I should take. Here are the classes that I may be interested in (these are all 1 semester, so I can pick 5):
Intro to AI with LISP
Discrete Math
Computational Methods
Computer Graphics Programming
Intro to Biochemistry
Linear Algebra
Modeling and Simulation
Marine Biology
Organic Chemistry
Software Design
As for what I’m planning on majoring in, I’m torn. So far, I’ve been thinking of doing a comp sci major along with something like biochem. However, I might do a math major instead. What should I do to make the most out of my junior year?
