Hi everybody, I recently admitted Master of EE in Penn and Master of Systems Engineering in Cornell. I know Systems Engineering is relatively new major and isn't popular yet. However I'm sure it's gonna be dorminant in the industry.

And Penn! Great University as Cornell is. Furthermore EE is achived major in the industry already. But for my understand, EE in Penn is not ranked high and very expensive. It also require full of two years in campus while cornell's SE requires only one academic year.

What would you choose if you were in this situation.

Give me tidbit for choosing school.

First of all......Congratulations on your acceptances!!!!

I say go to Cornell for the following reasons:

[1] You already live in Ithaca
[2] One less year on campus for Cornell
[3] The worst type of engineering at Cornell is better than the best type at Penn
(Engineering: Cornell >>>>>> Penn)

Hope this helps. By the way...Where did you do your undergrad (what was your major?), and what was your GPA?

Thank you very much for your help.
I did my undergrad not in states. I'm not also citizen of US. I just tried to study away from my home country. Yonsei univ. is my undergrad name (I bet you don't know) and CS is my major. GPA is 3.7/4.3.
