Help me decide!

I’m deciding whether to apply to Penn SEAS or Cornell Eng ED!! I’ll probably apply to both anyway, one RD. But can you guys help me decide which one to choose for ED.

I know Cornell is generally the better Eng. school, but I really like the vibe i get at penn and Wharton is a definite factor since i would like to pursue a career in product design.(im not using wharton as a backdoor)

So if you could please give me details on why i should choose either! As many things as possible. I’ll weigh them out and make a decision ASAP!

anyone????

if you're not using wharton as a backdoor...then how is it a factor in your application? Cuz, if you are in another school you can't take wharton classes, can you?

i guess what i was trying to say is that im not going to penn just for wharton. im not one of those people who would go to the college for one year, get a 3.6, and then just transfer the hell out of there. yes, i plan to take classes at wharton if possible, but how is that using it as a "backdoor"?

i would be more interested in knowing more about the Engineering schools alone, cuz thats where my main focus is.

Anyone can take classes at Wharton.

My suggestion is that if Penn gave you a good vibe (over Cornell) then you should go for Penn. You have to remember that it's about your whole 4-year college experience, not just the individual subject you are going to study. And Ithaca and Philly are completely different...

right. i know that Cornell and Penn are different, but im saying from a pure Engineering point of view, what are the advantages of each
