I want to take a review course soon actually but I’m not sure which to look at. I’m in the Los Angeles area so I also have swartwood as an option. I have heard great things about them. I actually know someone who took Swartwood and she is now at USC SOM. I have not heard very comforting things about Kaplan so I think there pretty much out of the running. I also sat in on a class for TPR but I felt like the prof wrote on the board, explained but everything was explained exactly what was in the book they are given?! Help!!! Which is better?

Note: I am looking to improve my scores. I’m testing around a 25-30 each time I take a practice test. I need better. I’m looking for a score of around 35. Its my physical science and verbal thats killing me :/

Maybe you should check out MCAT101. I think their website is just MCAT101.ca. It’s a smaller company than Kaplan or PR, but I had a great experience with them.
One of my instructors from MCAT101 actually SHOWED us his MCAT score on the AAMC website on our first day. One problem I had with the larger companies is that many of them often employ instructors who are know the subject, but who have never even written the MCAT! This is one of the reasons why I liked MCAT101. I think they actually advertise themselves has having instructors who scored high (like 90-95 percentile or something). In any case, the instructors there are really knowledgeable but also down-to-earth. Everyone was very willing to help!! It was nice having the support, especially under all the pressure. Ohhhh, and MCAT101 is a heck of a lot cheaper than some of the other larger companies I had looked into. And if it helps with your decision… I did score well on the MCAT! Took it last summer. Glad its over thoughhh haha…

Anyway, good luck with everything. Hope this helps!
