I searched this and there were a few outdated threads with some info but not really enough, what are the benefits of being on this floor? I've heard the wi-fi is bad though, that's not something I look forward to though lol

I’m wondering the same thing. I’m not sure whether the Honors floor will be worth it or not. I read somewhere on cc that its on the first floor. Not sure whether thats an advantage or not… But I did hear that the honors lounge is nice

What building is it? If it’s in one of the Warren res halls with no elevators, it’ll be a godsend when grocery shopping

First floor of Stewart Hall. All Warren res halls have elevators if I remember correctly that Frankfurter does too… hmm. There’s no true benefit to being on this floor. Wi-fi sucks pretty badly there & anyone that lives in the res halls has keys that can open the honors lounge.

I think I’ll just stick with regular dorms, since I want better wi-fi. lol And even though moving in would seem easier if your room was on the first floor, it might be kind of boring in some ways to not be on an upper floor lol

Hehe, don’t worry about moving in. The OLs and RAs will help you move in :)

I didn’t like living on the first floor. Too many bugs.

I’m pretty sure the wi-fi is equally as bad everywhere. Bring an ethernet cable and you won’t have to worry about it.

^ Not true. I had amazing wi-fi in Harlan 2nd floor…

I think it’s been made fairly clear that there are not exactly too many benefits to living on this floor. Regular dorm room it is :D
