I chose Northeastern over Honors College at the first three: Chapel Hill, NC State, UNC Amherst; a few waitlists (so if Princeton gets back to me, probably bye-bye Northeastern).

Computer Engineering Major

Should I choose NEU over Williams College? I’m in the honors program business school at neu so not sure

Northeastern Political Science over Michigan, Wisconsin, BU, GW, USC, Santa Clara, Lehigh
NEU over UMich for political science? That takes guts.
Checking back in a year and a half in and could not be happier with my decision: Frankly, I think NEU is a Top 15 or so overall CS school, particularly for learning good design paradigms as a Software Engineer. Additionally, for PL and Compilers as well, where we are formally ranked in the Top 15.
Lots of professors are being hired too: one of my professors was teaching for his first time at NEU this year - Harvard Undergrad, Yale Grad/Ph.D., worked at Google, researched at MIT Lincoln Labs, and taught at Wellesley before coming to NEU - and an amazing teacher. NEU right now is using a good deal of tuition to bring in world-class professors, and it is directly showing.
