Church camp internship for Athletic Training Major??

I am an athletic training major and have been wondering whether or not I would be able to do an internship with my church camp one summer that would count toward my major. However, I have asked my adviser about adding another organization to the list of possible internships and she said as long as I can get 240 hours from them and they are an NATA recognized health care professional then its fine. The only thing is that I don't know if it is an NATA recognized health care professional.

If it's not, is there anything I can do to get it to become an NATA recognized health care professional?

I would absolutely love for this to be an internship opportunity not only for myself but for other students in the AT program at my school and other schools. I looked on the list of organizations that are already on the possible internships and Young Life is one of the organizations that other students have already gotten internship credit with and the church camp I'm interested in is a lot like Young Life but with a lot of recreational activities. I have pretty much decided that I am going to be a counselor at this camp during every remaining summer of my college career but being able to get internship credit while I'm there one summer would be amazing.

If you know anything about internships and adding an organization to your colleges list of possible internships please help me out. Thanks!
