Church: Something that students do?

I am very active at my church....I'm the youth president...band director...main singer....
My denomination is not very common...he he
Apostolic or United Pentecostal Church....
Does anyone know if in Ithaca there might be this kind of church?

Type in united pentecostal church Ithaca, NY and see what you get :)

Umm according to google maps, looks like the closest one is in waterloo, about 50 miles away…

I am not sure how much you would be willing to attend a different denominational religious service, but the Cornell United Religious Works tries very hard to accommodate as many religious denominations as possible. We have a beautiful chapel on campus where lots of services/weddings etc are held, as well as a multitude of other religious services off campus.

Here is a list of denominations and worship times:

not sure about those denominations, but there are TONS of different christian fellowship groups that meet on friday nights (many are always begging for members)

you could start your own even!

Thanks for all the info guys!! lol :D

You’re from Dallas? Oh boy. Completely different world. It can’t even be described in words. The religious scene on campus at Cornell, and the religious scene on Campus at Texas A&M for example, are like night and day. Happy Easter. :)

^^hahahaha, that’s exactly what my friend from Dallas said about the religious scene at Cornell.

Ha ha ummm…meaning what exactly?
Lol

i think she means that at cornell most of the students are agnostic if not atheist…

there are a lot of christian fellowships as i said though…

and IMHO the religious kids at TAMU are more likely paying lip service than the truly devout here at cornell…

There’s not many mystics at Cornell . Sorry!
