Hi! I pass the FEE but was adviced in the comments section to take an CI-HW class. My question is: can I enter the HASS-D Lottery and then just drop the HASS-D class I am asigned to? The thing is that I have not decided yet if I will take a CI-HW or just a CI. Also, how are the CI-HW classes? I have read the descriptions but I would like to know the opinions of students who have taken it.

Thanks.

Yes, you can enter the lottery, then drop the class you are assigned if you choose to do so. The last date to drop this semester is November 22.

If you, say, attend both a CI-HW and your HASS-D for the first week of class, and decide that you like one better than the other, you would get an Add/Drop form outside the Student Services Center (11-120) and get it signed by your advisor, then turn it in to the Student Services Center.

i have the same problem as liss2006; so after taking a CI-HW class this year, i can take another other CI-H class in my sophomore with no limit to writing, right?

also, if i take a foreign language (let's say Spanish) for one year, does that mean I only need to take two different HASS concentrations instead of three?

A CI-HW course is only required once, so if you take your CI-HW this term, you can take any other CI-H in subsequent terms.

Only a level III or IV language counts as a HASS-D. So if you're taking Spanish III or IV, then you only have to take two other HASS-D classes.
