<p>how are cigarettes thought of in college? are they generally looked down upon? do girls find them unattractive?</p>

<p>it probably depends on the college...but the people that I know who are in college ALL smoke...either weed or cigarettes...and the smell (if it's light) kind of smells cool...don't know how to explain it...but the IDEA of smoking..I don't like.</p>

<p>i'm not a smoker, but when my dad smokes at times, I sometimes can smell the smoke and fumes and it's not a bad smell, but I try to make sure to stay away from it as much as I can cause of second-hand smoke.</p>
<p>i dunno..sometimes it's kind of a hot smell...but sometimes, it's just ew...i guess it depends on the person.</p>

<p>No, I know what you mean. I'll never smoke because it's a nasty, unhealthy and costly habit, but I've always strangely thought cigarette smoke had a pleasant smell as long as it's not too overbearing. Cheap cigars (black and mild's for instance) have a really nice smell too. Color me weird if you want, but yeah, that's just my two cents.</p>
<p>Maybe once or twice every year I'll light up a cigar...they smell better than cigarettes and taste is nice too</p>

<p>I can't STAND cigarette smoke. I don't think it smells good and I end up with a really bad headache/stomachache whenever I'm around it for too long. So...I guess you can see where this is going, but cigarette smoke is just gross and unhealthy, so, yes, I find them extremely unattractive, but that's just me.</p>
<p>Extremely unattrative. It discolors teeth and reeks on your clothing, not to mention the obvious health risks. Plus I'm a singer, a HUGE no-no for my vocal cords and lungs... and I'm sensitive to the smoke.</p>

<p>I used to like thesmell of cigarettes, as when I was little my nanny smoked. Then I slowly grew out of liking it, then I came to college and smoked hookah which is awesome, and then weed, which I like a lot too , but I will still never touch a cigarette. I had a friend (who was reallllly drunk) try to [litterally]shove a cigarette into my mouth, and I really just had to keep saying no. My logic is that I don't know a single person who is glad that they started smoking.</p>

<p>None of my friends smoke cigarrettes (some of them used to, but quit) but alot of the guys smoke cigars. Not constantly like cigarette smokers smoke, but they'll sit out after a night of drinking and have a couple. I don't really like how the big ones smell, but alot of times they smoke black and mild's cause they're cheaper, and they don't smell bad. I don't mind those.</p>
<p>if anyone thinks gasoline and sharpie permanent markers smell good, please say so lol. I have never tried to get high on them, but damn they smell good. Since we're on the topic of cigarette smoke smell, i jus decided to make this post too.</p>

<p>Hookahs are very popular amongst college students. Whenever I go to the hookah bar it's packed with UM/EMU students. Weed is extremely popular amongst college kids (from what I've seen) Also, Cigars suck. The best part about smoking is inhaling. Although, I'm not much of a cigarette man. I don't like the flavor.</p>
