Civil engineering applicant here.

I know collegeconfidential is probably not the right place to rant, but I just feel totally hopeless right now. So far I have been accepted by only ONE school, that I don't really intend to attend, and have received a whole string of rejections (streak of 4 so far, including 2 of my top choices). Waiting on other schools, but confidence is wavering.

Really hopeless about getting into a good school.
Really frustrated about my future in engineering.
Rant over.

Where were you applying? Just curious.

And transferring isn’t hard if that’s what you need to do. If you get stuck somewhere, stick it out and then transfer to where you want. Don’t get down, you got a lot of good times ahead.

Are you a traditional student (planning to attend college right after HS graduation)?

If you don’t mind saying, what schools were you rejected from. I ask because I’m interested in going back to school for another bachelor degree, this time in engineering (electrical or civil).

Sorry for the late reply but I actually got rejected by most US schools and am now heading to London. Anyway thanks for the support!

@chaoswithinthed Civil Engineering.
@wouxuv My background is rather complicated, but here’s some advice I gathered from my friends and others, most US schools don’t welcome a second bachelor (e.g. the likes of Berkeley, Cornell) but if you do you would have to apply as a transfer student at most schools.
