I am a high school senior from the east coast and choosing between Bowdoin and Claremont McKenna college to play football. I am looking to study economics/business and settle down on the east coast eventually. I want to have a good college experience (have fun, party) but still get a good not overly stressful education
Did your dad also post? We got a very similar question from a parent of an athlete this week. It was discussed quite thoroughly.
Both colleges offer strong academics, but CMC is better for economics & business.
Otherwise, it is purely a personal choice based in part on weather & location/geography.
The good news is that you have won the college lottery regardless of your ultimate decision.
P.S. Since you are from Northern Virginia, either location should be an exciting adventure. With respect to ultimately working on the East Coast, both schools can deliver.
Hmm, Sounding more more and more like CMC by the minute. Beware that you will wind up working your glutes off at either place.
