Clarification about Axess

After reading many threads in this forum I have found that many of you are in the same problem as I was before so I would like to clarify on how to check the status of your application.

If you go on to the Axess website provided in the Stanford email. Do not click the login button in the Personal Login section, instead if you look down a bit you'll see the place saying guest menu. Click on Check Application Status and you should be able to check the status of your application.

PS btw does anybody know what the Stanford id is for in regards for applicants?

The Stanford ID will become your main ID at the university (i.e. university ID card, etc...). Your first use of the ID will be to create a SUNET (Stanford University Network) account online after you are admitted to view the Admitted Students' Website at admit.stanford.edu.

so you only get the axess info if your application is missing stuff?

this is what I did: I went to axess.stanford.edu and then under the Guest Menu clicked on check status of application and then I entered my email. I didn't login or use my ID or anything. (I know Stanford's email mentioned using an ID, but I don't what they were referring to). If you do those steps and enter your email address you will get an email back from credentials@stanford.edu and it lists whether the required materials for your application are processed yet or not. Hope that helps!

thanks! That helps a lot!

i got this from Stanford:
^^^ Credentials Processed:

Does this mean that I'm set? However, I also sent an optional evaluation, so I guess they haven't got around to that yet.

I actually got the same thing, and I think that means we are both set! They don't track optional materials like a supplemental evaluation... so you will never know if your supplemental recommendation has been processed or not (I'm sure it has). But at least all of your required materials are in!

yay! Now we just have to quietly wait it out...
