Is the policy described for General Studies: AP Credit | General Studies
the policy of columbia college and SEAS, or is this policy unique to general studies?

Does getting advanced credit equate to getting that number of points towards graduation at Columbia?

admissions geek, I have seen those pages, and they are not clear about what specific AP scores they give credit/advanced classes for, which is why I want to know if the policy for General Studies that I linked is the same as the college.

well you’re changing your question. i showed for seas that the list is pretty much identical to the one from gs. but you’re interested in the college, i guess showing you seas isn’t quite good enough.

have you been admitted to columbia? are you a current columbia student?

I was admitted to the college. Sorry for changing my question, but I was more interested in just the college’s policy. So is the SEAS policy the same as the college?

for instance here is the piece from the Math department:
Advanced Placement
The department grants 3 credits for a score of 4 on the AP Calculus AB exam provided the student completes MATH V1102 with a grade of C or better. The department grants 3 credits for a score of 5 on the AP Calculus AB exam provided the student completes MATH V1102 or MATH V1201 with a grade of C or better. The department grants 3 credits for a score of 4 on the AP Calculus BC exam provided the student completes MATH V1102 or MATH V1201 with a grade of C or better. The department grants 6 credits for a score of 5 on the AP Calculus BC exam provided the student completes MATH V1201 or MATH V1207 with a grade of C or better. Students can receive credit for only one calculus sequence.
