Clark Scholars 2013?

You need application, a copy of your test scores, 3 recommendation letters, and transcript. The website stated that the transcript maybe sent directly from your high school.

For the “other” box in scores, I just put one score that I thought was most pertinent to my app, my SAT II Math II score. The rest of them I just included copies of score reports.

All right, I ended up just putting “see score reports” in the box.

So we can just photocopy our unofficial score reports right?

Yeah…but my question is, do we use chrome or internet explorer?

ojeshsh, my GUESS is that you can send photocopies of test scores. Clark stated that the transcript must be OFFICIAL but did not specifically say that about the test scores.

^^ Neither! Use Firefox!

how long is the application with firefox?

^^Mine was ish 5 pages, not double sided. The last page was pretty much blank though. Firefox really is the best! You can send photocopies of your test scores.

So I sent in my application on Saturday and UPS said they received it. My transcript was sent separately last Friday. I still haven’t received confirmation from them that they’ve received my application yet…should I be worried?

I used Chrome, I hope it’s not too noticeable. How can you even tell the difference? Damn – I see it’s the difference in font.

Can some alums comment on if this will disqualify me?

Well, it did say on the application and evaluation page to print with either IE or Firefox, but I doubt it’ll matter too much. I do remember the chrome version getting the spacing all wrong when I tried to print it though
When do people normally posts stats here? or is that even common practice?

I got an email from Ms. Durham today confirming that my application had been received and was complete.

I suppose I’ll kick off the yearly tradition. Add your name and indicated interests below!

Tadakichi, when did you send in your app if you don’t mind me asking?

Also, if I haven’t gotten an email by now, does this mean they haven’t gotten my application on time and I’m basically screwed?

^ Nope. Judging from previous years’ threads, many confirmation emails are sent out days after the deadline.

^Good. The post office told me it would be there by Thursday, but I didn’t get an email yet.

My interests: chemical engineering/biochemistry/biology/chemistry/biophysics. Yeah. I put 5.
