Imo they should have a wait list then. At least people can know where they stand and why. Not knowing anything is worse.

just got my rejection! i already had other plans so i didn’t care much. It was probably a**hole to send them updates/ stuff when i already commited to somewhere else so i’m not too upset

Nothing yet. Honestly i might be a little happy for a rejection now because that would mean this is ending, and Id in the company of some super smart people
