<p>What determines whether or not there will be resort to the waitlist is not the yield rate per se, but the difference, if any, between the yield rate PROJECTED when they decided how many people to admit on April 1, and the INTERIM yield rate that is apparent when matriculation cards are received on May 1.</p>
