Wow…I have only one hons. But my school is a independent boarding school so its okay =D

Jr.

Ap Chem
American Studies(special class unique to our school. It is english and Us History combine. I heard it is soo much better than any AP. And prepares you better than AP history or AP English for the test. hehehhe.)
Ap Calc. AB
Health
Public Speaking
Advanced Ceramics
Spanish 3a

Tentative junior year schedule:
AP Calculus BC
AP Physics B & C
AP Psychology
APUSH
Gifted Lang Arts

I’m on block scheduling, so all of these classes are year long except for AP Psych and LA. Do you think this is too much??? Ive Heard juniors at my school say I’m going to “die” with this schedule. If I changed anything, I would drop APUSH and go for something else, like AP Comparative Govt.

What do you think guys?? Should I do it

Go big or go home

Yeah… you guys take way too many AP’s. Maybe their difficulty differs in each high school? All AP’s is crazy at my school. Plus most academic classes are required till Soph/Junior year and aren’t AP or Honors. And some AP’s they only let Seniors take, etc. :P

Sophomore

Junior
APUSH
Am Lit Honors (second choice Humanities)
Physics Honors

 • self-study AP Chem(only because in the actual class the teacher makes you learn it on your own anyways but with 5million times more stress -__-)

Dream Senior Schedule

AP Enviro
AP Calc AB
AP Gov/Econ (or regular… i don’t know yet)
Spanish 4 Honors (if I don’t drop Spanish 3)

Year 1 of diploma at International School:
IB English HL 1
IB Mandarin Chinese HL 1
IB History HL 1
IB Psychology HL 1
IB Biology SL 1
IB Mathematics SL 1
Theory Of Knowledge

IB Certificate/Additional:
IB French SL 1(not sure if I’ll do the IB course or just a regular course)

I’ll be applying to the UWC after one year of IB, and if I get accepted I’ll have to do 2 additional years as per their requirements. I’ll have already done year 1 of many subjects, so my schedule should look like:

Year 1 at UWC:
IB English HL 2
IB History HL 2
IB Psychology HL 2
IB Mathematics HL 1
IB Biology HL 1
IB French HL 1

Year 2 at UWC:
IB French HL 2
IB Mathematics HL 2
IB Biology HL 2
IB Economics SL (anticipated)
+
IB Spanish Ab initio SL (will not complete course; just for learning)

I’ll graduate by 19…and I’ll have:
IB English HL
IB History HL
IB Psychology HL
IB Mathematics HL
IB Biology HL
IB French HL
IB Economics SL

and some extra knowledge from Spanish Ab Initio SL and Chinese HL

@loveispeac3: My school has Am Stud, too! Haha I thought it was only unique to our school. Guess not.

It’s not set in stone yet, but my schedule should look like this:
Honors Chemistry(2 periods)
AP US History
AP Lang
Honors Spanish IV
Honors Precalculus
Honors Journalism I
Honors Probability and Statistics*

*My school offers AP Stats and even though I’ve heard it’s easy, I don’t think it’ll work in my schedule. At my HS only juniors and seniors can take AP classes and juniors can only take stats, APUSH, and Lang:/
I was thinking of self-studying another AP class on top of this…any suggestions? (I took all Honors courses freshman year and aced all of them; same situation this year)
Thanks!

AP Chemistry
AP US History
AP Language and Composition (Well, actually taking Amstud, which is a combination of APUSH and AP Language)
Honors Physics
Honors Spanish

Self studying AP Stat

Most rigorous courses I can take without dropping orchestra (and definitely harder than my peers in my school). Sadly the only AP you can take before junior year is stat, which I didn’t take as a sophomore because I was very unwise during course selections last year. But I’ll just make up for it by self studying.
