AP Calculus AB - Teacher is biggest d-bag ever and an awful teacher. He is teaching us how to find the area between curves and other topics. (Basically, we're learning the 75% of calculus he neglected to teach us before the exam.)

APUS - Thank you North Carolina Board of Education! NOT...We have to review for the EOC (End-of-Couse) test. However, we're watching some awesome movies during our preparation, such as Gangs of New York.

APES - Haha, Earth Day, everyday!! We plant trees and pick up trash and watch educational movies like Bug's Life, Evolution, and Jurassic Park. (All of those movies are directly related to APES and very educational! :))

AP Eng - Comparing various books we have read throughout the year (Scarlet Letter, Great Gatsby, Grapes of Wrath) and comparing them to the film versions! Aka MOVIE TIME!! lol

School ends May 23 for me, so we don't have much longer to go. Last year, after the AP Euro, my teacher READ to us from a book about the colonization of America. Needless to say, it was mind-numbingly dull. This year is a bit better. In AP US, we're making presentations on the "themes" of American history, which will serve as the final. In AP Lang, I think we're just going to watch movies.

And, of course, no longer having to do independent study for AP Lit is a gift all of its own. :)

Calc AB - second half of my final on monday, then nothing for the rest of the year
World History - films on genocide and one final paper
Spanish 3 - not an AP class, but take the final during seniors final week (spanish 3 is full of seniors) and then do a giant composition for the rest of the yr.

Calc AB - With our finals done, we're going to watch Stand and Deliver and do some activities/projects, some that involve watching Numbers, apparently.

Chem - With our finals done, I know that we're going to work on organizing our lab reports.

Comp Sci - As it's accidentally an AP course and the exam was optional, we just do what we did before, program. Finding myself slacking off, actually. :P

Last year in AP Bio, the last days after the exam went by in a blur. I do recall, aside from people studying for their APs after the AP Bio exam, watching Evolution, reading comics, and looking at yearbooks.

APUSH: Watch movies, read articles, write one short paper
AP Stats: A unit on combinations and permutations, another unit on epidemiology, and two experiments involving pop and Guitar Hero.

Stats: We learned F-tests and tests for rho (population correlation coefficient) before the exam. Why we did this, I do not know. We are now proceeding to learn ANOVA and ANCOVA.

ap chem and ap calc have turned into ap board games (woot! woot!). In ap econ we're just reading Freakonomics and in ap english we're working on a end of the year project.

I'm a senior, and my last full week is this coming week. CLASS OF '08! The underclassmen have this coming week and then finals the week of the 27th.

Anyway,

Stats - Nothing. The sophomores are doing a project.

Physics B - Juniors are doing a review project with SmartBoard software. Our teacher is also doing some awesome demos

stats: final projects
english lit: 4-page essay & read the importance of being earnest
art: enter school art show, chill
physics: labs & build rockets, turn in homework (ick)
bio: birding & a final exam (eww)

My favorites were apush and apchem... all we did after apush was play risk and discuss current events, and all we did after apchem was blow stuff up.

USH - 20 page term paper, Clinton's administration - present unit test

Bio - Field trips and two big projects

Calc AB - BC topics (we already covered all the integration methods.. going into sequences and series omg) + BC topics test + couple of quizzes + a final project

English Lang - a lot of essays, 20 page term paper

Environmental Science - advocacy project, FINAL exam, tons of small projects, and quizzes

Most of you guys have it relatively easy.. Our school sucks.

Calculus: Still having quizzes, working on class "magazine", no final!
US History: Watching movies w/ worksheets, project, no final!
Psychology: Watching movies, project, still have final ):

We get out on June 13th.. but that week is finals so we don't need to go to class for our APs (the AP test counted as our final, lol).

in chem we're doing this ridiculously hard scavenger hunt project for two weeks.. and then we are going to local elementary schools and doing demonstrations. oh, and this week we are having a GUITAR HERO TOURNAMENT lol i'm so freaking excited!!

in ap gov we've just been doing.. nothing. after the gov test our teacher gave us the rest of that week and the next to study for our other ap tests, and the seniors could go work on the exit projects. this week we are starting a unit on local and state government.

I laugh at school now. I DGAF cause I only have 2 weeks left! AP classes are all done and have no finals. God I love being a senior. SUCKS FOR YOU UNDERCLASSMAN!!!! AHAHAHAHAAHHA

Many of our hard APs would go outside and play games and stuff after exams, but a bunch of people in regular classes started complaining (freshmen and seniors) so the principal made it a rule to not go outside ever again, unless for education. Our class totally got shafted.
