Class load for next year?

Hi fellow CC’s! I’m a junior this year and just wanted to make sure my schedule next year is OK:
AB Calc
Advanced Spanish
AP Gov/AP Psych
AP Physics Mechanics
AP Physics Electricity
AP Comp
Choir
I want to take BC (it’s the highest level offered) but my friends advise against it since I’m taking both AP Physics.
Opinions? Thanks!

Taking BC calc is actually helpful with AP Physics C

Personally, I would do BC, but you know your capabilities best.

Do BC. It’ll fit in nicely with Physics and there really isn’t much of a difference between AB and BC anyways.

Direct quote from the AP Board:

“The difference between AP Calculus AB and AP Calculus BC is one of scope and not level of difficulty. Calculus AB includes techniques and applications of the derivative, the definite integral, and the Fundamental Theorem of Calculus. It is equivalent to at least one semester of calculus at most colleges and universities. Calculus BC includes all topics in AB and additional topics in differential and integral calculus (including parametric, polar, and vector functions) and series. It is equivalent to at least one year of calculus at most colleges and universities. Calculus BC is an extension of AB, and each course is challenging and demanding and requires a similar depth of understanding of common topics.”

If you want to take AP Physics C, then you want to cover as much calculus as possible, which means favoring BC over AB.
