<p>I heard the year before me at Dartmouth that someone moved into the dorms, attended the first two days of orientation, then got into Stanford off the W/L and immediately moved out and headed for Palo Alto.</p>
<p>I'm on Michigan's wait list. It's been 266 days.</p>
<p>D1 received a letter from Nova today, she is waitlisted to the waitlist, if she chooses! This gets more interesting by the minute!</p>

<p>Let's review the obvious!</p>
<p>GC suggests we look at this school, at 1st meetings, Spring 2005.
We drive 7 hours to this school, Aug. 2005 and spend a good 3 hours looking around, talking to the LAX coach etc.
Apply EA by Nov. 1 after starting everything in Sept.
Deferred in Dec..
Send in the yadayada stuff. ie new grades bla bla bla...
Waitlisted in late May.
No other word until today, July 5, 2006.
And it asks her to respond to the "Summer Waiting List", and that they will respond by August 1 with "their final decision."</p>
<p>And we did not ask for one penny!</p>
