I just wanted to know of all of the people that have been accepted to Colby just so I can get to know some people before the COOT trip (I think that is what it is called.) I was accepted ED2 to Colby and cannot wait to attend. I went up for a visit and loved it and think that it will definately be an easier transition with the more people that I get to know. Anyone else ready to be a white mule?

Hey, I got in ED 1 and am so ready for high school to be over (but hey, they said that at the end of elementary school, at the end of junior high, and we'll say it again in four more years too I bet)

Im from Minnesota. PM me for my AIM handle if you wanna chat.

Hey, I got accepted at Colby ED2, and i am excited also. I would really like to get to know people before i go as well. Anyone else who is a little anxious(but in a good way)? Let me know!

congrats! I think that we all made the right decision.

hey i was just accepted to colby RD

who else is going to go?

i want to get an idea of what other people are like in the class of 09

Hey,
I was accepted RD.
A question: are they going to send us info about COOT after we enroll?

I've just been accepted, but can't choose between the Honors College at the University of Vermont or Colby... but I'll probably end up rootin' for the Mules come September '05 :-P!

I'm a dual American/Swedish citizen living here in Sweden. I've been accepted, but I'm unsure if I'll be attending. I'm currently choosing between Trinity University in San Antonio and Colby and a few others. Also, I have been waitlisted at 4 schools and will have to see what happens with them. I'll be more than happy to attend Colby though!

Hey everyone, my name's Drew and I'm class of '09 :-D

(finally decided :-P)

Welcome, werd! You made the right choice. come join the boards on the Colby site (at the class of 2009 site, under "meet your classmates") if you're curious about the rest of the class.

Hey,
I'm pretty sure that I've decided that I'll be attending Colby next year.
Here's sort of a random question, how many people are planning to bring a car to campus?

I think I'm bringing a car, even though my car is really lame. It will make me feel better just to have it in case I ever do feel the need to leave campus.

Yes, information on the various COOT trips/excursions/activities will be sent to you soon after the deadline passes for deposit checks.

Led by students who are active in those activities, you'll get to meet some people in your class, as well as upper classmen, and do some "bonding." Just meeting those new people will help your transition to college life.

I remember the day freshmen were due, and the parents (like me) carrying loads of stuff into dorm rooms, fretting over the thought of her staying and us leaving. Then all of a sudden, it's 4pm, and the freshmen had to gather for their COOT meetings, and parents were told to leave. Go. Get out.

Honestly, it will be a blast.

Congratulations to you all, and have a great time!

I was accepted ED1. I went up for a visit and i fell in love with it. I went up again, just to make sure, and fell in love with it all over again. If your debating between Colby and somewhere else, Colby is positively one of the most beautiful campuses in the world, not to mention, it just felt right. I am so excited for next year...anyone else??
