Class of '10 represent!

Someone from Palos Verdes (nice area in Southern California)

Hahaha the Palos Verdes Peninsula is a location in the South Bay, 20 miles south of LA and USC. A person living in or originating from the Palos Verdes area is known to locals as a PVer. Pronounced "Peevur"

I thought it was PeeVee -ur
haha

Nope just 2 syllables

I have lived in so cal all my life and I have never, ever heard anyone ever call anyone from palos verdes a "PVer", either pronunciation. I'm sure if I heard someone say that I would probably have a puzzled look on my face. :)

so krisiitina - which high school are you from?

yep. we're always called PVers "Peevers." jbusc, I go to Palos Verdes High. Not Peninsula.

haha funny

A kid who went to my son's HS ended up with Parkside Apartments with 3 other guys & has been satisfied there as a freshman. The dad said about 40% of the kids from HI choose to live in apartments rather than dorms as freshmen. Next year, the kid will be living in a house with 3 guys he met who go to Ju Jitzu (sp?) with him.

I'm from...
