Also (kind of) tanking my senior year w/ so many career tech courses - and so excited for it =D. I’m jealous of cali’s biotech course though…

Wow, some of you guys take so many classes in a year!
At my school, you can take 5 academic classes and 1 optional art/elective (rarely a 6th solid, like me).
Senior year, most students only take 4 (some take 5) classes. And it’s not like everyone is going to CC, 25% go to Ivies+S, and 85% go to a school with an acceptance rate of 35% or lower.

AP American Gov’t

I asked for:
AP Chem
AP Physics
AP Lit
AP Econ
AP US History
AP Gov (online)
Gym (1st semester)
Independent Study (for math)

AP Biology
AP Calculus AB (I want BC. I generally hate the juniors taking Calc AB right now. They’re all wusses, thinking they will fail BC.)

AP/IB Lit
AP/IB Chem
Linear/Discrete math
IB TOK
AP/IB Spanish
Oceanography 2nd semester (this will be funn)

I was planning on taking AP Gov instead of orchestra, but my teachers said it was unnecessary, and I don’t want to overburden myself with all this and IBs and apps. Plus, I’ve always wanted to be in orchestra

My schedule is a mix of interesting courses and challenging ones. Take a look.

AP Biology
AP US Government and Politics
AP Statistics
Video Production
Journalism (3rd year working for the paper)
American Sign Language
Writing (the senior English class for everyone. Since I’m taking AP English Lang/Comp this year, it will be very easy. Plus, it will apply to my career than AP Lit will.

you have a sign language class? thats pretty awesome.

AP US Gov
AP Lit
Art History
Facing History & Ourselves
Precalculus
Physics 1

AP Physics C
AP French
AP English Lit
AP Latin: Vergil
Multivariable Calc/Diff Eq online - thank you school for offering me no math class senior year!
AP Chemistry - if this doesn’t fit into my schedule (scheduling sucks b/c of 60 people in a grade), then I’ll probably take International Relations for a more fun class

Yes no more history!!!
