<p>I decided to run for Lieutenant Gov. at last minute and won. I was very surprised. I think I won cause I made this funny little poem about running for office and stuff. </p>
<p>While I did benefit, as in doign a few speeches in front of crowds, I felt the program was lacking. I guess it seemed so patriotic and hardly issue related. How did you feel about it Gimpage?</p>

<p>I think that's sad that you couldn't go since you weren't a us citizen. It is a very patriotic and conservative event, so I am not surprised that one requisite is being a citizen.</p>

<p>Williams does require end of the year report. Grade-wise, your second semester GPA should be similar to what you've gotten through the rest of College--it can be lower but not significantly lower. As and Bs are fine--just don't get Cs. You really shouldn't stress too much--Williams really doesn't want to revoke your admissions.</p>
<p>Man, Williams sounds pretty awesome from all the stuff I have read (and I have read a lot) and so I was wondering what should a Freshmen expect when first getting there? And is it easy to get in on good research projects? (cause at Rice in the summers I sometimes got stuck with boring research since those were the only ones going on)</p>
<p>lol 2:20 AM... students repeatedly told me to get ready for some 'brain-bust', but in a good way. =) I really look forward to some 'brain stimulation'.</p>

i really want to talk to other people going to williams though, so i registered. im really excited, but also really nervous because i have been at the williams student website and reading the students blogs and they all sound so much smarter than me and i feel like...im one of the smartest kids at my school, but ill be the dumbest one there...am i the only one that feels that way? and i come from a big, respected school...just so you dont think im number one of four people...anyway...

yeah my dad ordered me a williams sweatshirt (the one with the stuff on the sleeves, front, and back) and i got it for christmas...i was so excited..ive been wearing it a ridiculous amount... :)
