yeah i just wish i could fast forward until dec 15 though. after nov 1 we should start some engaging conversations to keep our minds off of it though.

ya we gotta double the post rate lol

Kraor- thats why I have Final Fantasy XII preordered, plans to go get the Nintendo Wii on launch, and 2 Model UN conferences in the intervening period. Of course, the more important MUN is at Princeton, a week before notification no less! So that one really isn't so helpful.

It is pretty cool...on December 15th my HS band misses school and goes to Fanueil Hall in Boston to play Christmas Carols, and hang out and shop and stuff. I'm glad I won't have school to deal with that day, but I just hope I'll be happy when I get home

Once I submit it tommorow (no post office was open today), I'll try to put it out of my mind, and hopefully that won't be too hard.

haha that is so funny. do you live near princeton? is that why the MUN thing is there? by the way, what IS MUN? i feel like everyone here does it, but i had never heard of it until i came to this site. i'll probably be princeton's only applicant without it!

is nintendo wii that thing where the controls don't have wires or something? thanks for mentioning that though, i think it's time for me to pull out my mariokart & super smash brothers games!

lol jtc i come home from a day of STRESS to a letter containing more stress.

MUN-MODEL UNITED NATIONS

very boring lol.

so.. you pretend like you're different countries.. or something?? haha sorry i'm so ignorant. we dont have that or mu alpha theta or mathletes or DECA (whatever that is)

I thought I had made it clear by spelling it out in the previous sentence, woops.

And MUN isn't boring! Apox on thee!

And yes, Wii is the won without wires (though they're all wireless). More to the point, it has exact location detection (instead of relative), so if you're playing a baseball game, you could swing the controller to swing the bat, and it'll sense speed, where on the "bat" you hit, etc.

MUN = http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Model_United_Nations

oh man MUN sounds cool! i wish there was one at my school. oh well. Wii sounds awesome but i am ok with my gamecube mariokart/super smash bros. anyone else like those games?

"so.. you pretend like you're different countries.. or something??"

exactly (no sarcasm)

everyone does it, so unless you show a passion for political science or somthing, it probably doesnt carry much weight. LOl everyone applying to Georgetown from my school have MUN.

Kraor-Isn't that sort of like asking "Anyone else think cookies are delicious?"

lol i hate cookies :p

hahaha yeah i guess it is. but they are the best games ever in my opinion. too bad i'm pretty awful at ssb. but now to take my mind of dec 15 i will probably play ssb so much that i will become amazing with ness.
