<p>with the opening of whitman hall, i dont understand how they could decrease class size...from what ive read on their website, they're going to be able to accept about 30 more people ED this year...</p>

Because he was saying how Princeton didn't like to tell the alumnis much...they're very secretive.</p>

<p>Maybe....remember the amount of people they accept is based on the statistical probability of how many people will actually go to the school, and is based on years of experience. So they "overaccept," knowing that x number of people won't end up going for one reason or another. I doubt last year's class size will have a dramatic effect on this year's class, especially for Early Decision.</p>

<p>ya, if anything they will deduct from RD round and increase the quality of WAITLISTED applicants. in case too little ppl matriculate, they can just pull some ppl off the waitlist, and they'd be ecstatic</p>
