Is anyone else taking SAT IIs or SATs on Saturday? I'm nervous because we won't know the scores until its too late to sign up for the November testing date...hopefully I do okay. (I'm taking Chem)

@JTC007: I'm taking the SAT this Saturday. Subject tests in November. Never taken anything + international. But sure I can do it.

I'm taking the SAT for my third time. Mainly I'm just trying to improve the 690 in Writing.

JTC007: Don't worry too much about Chem, it's not a difficult test -- you'll be fine.

Thanks for the encouragement guys - good luck to you too, especially phillyland (that's a lot of SAT). I'm sure you can do it though.

Yeah you will definitely be fine on the Chem SAT II! It's really easy. What chemistry classes have you taken? Anyway your prospective major is related to chem so I'm sure you'll do great.

gosh oasis... three times taking the SATs...that's impressive. I wouldn't be able to handle that! I almost went crazy the first (and last) time I took it. It was SOOO long!!!

Yea I took Honors Chem two years ago and I am now taking AP chem, so I am a little rusty. I am using Barrons, so hopefully it will over-prepare me.

Yes! Barrons is definantly a good book for chem. If you really want to, take friday off and spend the whole day cramming and you should know everything you need to for chemistry.

I know three times is a lot... Technically I don't have to retake it (800/800/690). But meh, I took a practice test yesterday and scored 2350...I just want to break the 2300 mark. =p

Yay for lurkers! Nice to meet you, too, rotor!
Just submitted my app today. Now the waiting begins...
BTW, anyone know how to check app status online? I know it says that you can use your PIN to do that, but where do you go on the website?

I too would like to know the whole PIN number thing.

Cheers from a long time lurker...

::shudders::

Lol, it is not "PIN number" (that would be saying "personal identification number number". Sorry, that is one of my pet peeves (that and "ATM machine") :p

As to a useful answer to the question, I think once you submit the application they usually send you an e-mail saying it is complete or incomplete. Perhaps you log in with your PIN, but I think they send an e-mail anyway.

Hehe, JTC, that bothers me a little, too :p

I did receive that e-mail, and that's all the information I need, but I was just curious about the PIN thing since it was mentioned in the app instructions.

JTC - now that would make a good short answer somewhere on your app. LOL.
