<p>Do the schools notify students prior to 2/08? Postmarked 2/08 for home address notification?</p>
<p>My school hasn’t heard anything concerning any of our SFs, but I’m assuming we’re okay since no one got a rejection letter in January.</p>
<p>Our daughter was notified by her principal of Finalist status yesterday. We live in Iowa. Hopefully others will learn soon.</p>
<p>Our son was notified today by principal in TX. We are so excited for him.</p>

<p>Finally got the School to dig thru the mail bin and find ours in Georgia.</p>
<p>My son just called and told me the principal called him to the office and gave him the Certificate-we are in RI.</p>
<p>Nothing yet from our school principal. Nothing in the mail yet at my home, mail must have been backed up in Chicago. My school is probably just preparing something in the meantime.</p>
<p>Heard from the principal today in Missouri. She called him into the office and announced it over the PA system while I was listening on the phone. It was pretty cool. They will also honor him at halftime of the basketball game tonight.</p>
<p>The school (enrollment 1,600) has only had four NM Finalists in the last five years. So, the administration is pretty excited.</p>
<p>This is so frustrating - nothing from our school. There were 10 semifinalists and none have heard. I’m sure they’ve heard and just haven’t bothered to convey it. Love our administration. Grr…</p>
<p>In CA, my HS just notified me of my NMF status!</p>
<p>School just informed our third son this afternoon that he is NM Finalist for class of 2011.</p>
<p>This is the third NM Finalist that our family received within the last 4 years. Our other two boys were NM Scholars and are in college right now. Our third son will heading to USC. We are living in Southern California. We still have a fourth child at home and she is freshmen in high school right now.</p>
