<p>I love college already! There are so many courses I wanna take it's hard to choose. What are you guys gonna take?</p>
<p>Differential and Integral Calculus
Intro to Electrical and Computer Engineering
Intro to Computing
History of Rock Music</p>
<p>First semester I don't think I have much of a choice. I don't do my schedule until orientation, so I have a while. By my first semester schedule is probably going to be similar to this:</p>
<p>General Botany<br>
General Chemistry I
Survey of Calculus I
Writing and the Environment
Orientation Seminar</p>
<p>The 2nd semester I get to have an elective. I might not have calc, I'm not sure if I did well enough on the math placement test. I got most of the calc questions right.... but a lot of trig/geometry wrong. My schedule doesn't sound like much fun to me, not very excited about it. I hate chemistry and math.</p>
<p>A lot of required courses...</p>
<p>Calc II (requirement)
Writing the Essay (requirement)
Either a World Cultures or a Conversations of the West class (both are requirements, but they recommend one a semester)
Freshman Honors Seminar... hopefully one called "The Art of the Enemy"</p>
<p>First-Year Japanese
The Price System: Analysis, Problems, and Policies (Introductory Economics)
Multivariable Calculus
[Expository Writing] - if I don't test out of this</p>
<p>My school is on a quarter schedule, so I'm only looking at about 3-4 classes per term. Definitely looking forward to college.</p>
<p>I'm taking some journalism classes, an intro gov class (I guess it's like political theory), a seminar on China, anthropology, and math (my only 'ew' class).</p>
<p>Totally psyched :).</p>
<p>Also taking a lot of required classes...</p>
<p>Calculus II
Intermediate Spanish
The City in Africa: from Nairobi to Johannesburg
American Politics, Power and Belief.</p>
<p>Not sure if those names are correct (I'm too lazy to go look right now), but you get the jist of it. :-)</p>
<ul>
<li>Chemistry Fundamentals I</li>
<li>Composition II</li>
<li>Humanistic Tradition I</li>
<li>Calculus W Analytic Geometry I</li>
</ul>
<p>-University Writing
-Microeconomics
-Linear Algebra and Differential Equations
-Physics I for Scientists and Engineers</p>
<p>Mandarin 101
Intro to Collective Bargaining
Intro to Organizational Behavior
Microeconomics
Intro to US Labor History
Golf</p>
<p>Introduction to Linguistics (really looking forward to this!)
Drawing 5 (prerequisite for all courses in the visual arts) or some sort of French literature, probably
Expository Writing or a freshman seminar (the latter if I test out of writing)</p>
<p>And I'm going to the same college as Big Brother 1984.</p>
<p>I'm going to have a freshman seminar (I haven't decided what yet),
an intro to acting class, and something else. I might take a language, calculus, or a beginning econ class.
my school is on the quarter system, so I'm only getting three classes.</p>
<p>Calculus, Part II (Multivariable calculus at Penn)
Intro Micro Econ
Writing Seminar
Either Intro Chem, Intro CS, or Foreign Language.</p>
<p>Calc: Diff Eq and Power Series (Calc II for those who didn't take Calc AB)
General Chemistry
Engineering for Everyone (basically Intro to Egr)
Methods of Literary Study</p>
<p>Multivariable Calculus (Calc III)
Spanish or Italian I (still haven't decided...)
A lovely PE course...
Ideal: Oil painting (intro)...reailty: Astronomy
First Year Seminar (All freshmen have to take one, it is based off of various topics, so I don't know which one I want yet)</p>
<p>But, nothing is official until orientation.</p>
<p>1st quarter (unofficial until July 7 when I register):</p>
<p>University Seminar (required)
Theatre Foundations
Music Theory
Aural Skills
Concert Choir
Whatever math I test into</p>
<p>If I strike gold in the registration lottery:</p>
<p>Intro to Linguistics
Acting I
Climate Change and American Politics (seminar)
International Human Rights and Local Culture (seminar)
Chorus
Kathak</p>
<p>Introductory Japanese
Honors English
Introductory to Psychology (plus a lab)
Honors Freshman Seminar</p>
<p>I am soooo psyched!! I have Japanese (a language not offered at high school)!</p>
