@pacific34,
Congratulations for getting In…U had taken AP exams right???

Can you tell me somethin more about it?I regret for not taking it(Actually It was too late when I knew about it..So didn’t give much importance to it)…My younger brother wants to know about it(Maybe class of 2013)…I really don’t have a detailed idea about it…I heard it is conducted at Lincon…And also heard that it is conducted sometime around MAy and the regestration must be carried two months prior…IS the test carried only on May?Is he missed the deadline for regestration??
And how to prepare for it?(Any books,materials etc…available??)

Accepted to University of New Orleans with Chancellor scholarship. need to pay $4000 per year…

perhaps you can come with other guys there. tell me, how many of you are coming here? If you’re into hardcore engineering/science then I suggest you guys go somewhere else where it would be easier. But if you’re into other thingys then you are most welcome here xD xD

thanx…
Yes,I took AP exams when I had just completed my A1 final exams…
so I had only about a month to prepare for 5 AP tests…I had to self study Physics, Chemistry and Calculus..so it is quite hard to take AP exams just after completing 11th grade…
AP offers many courses like A-Levels…you can choose any number of courses that you want…In Lincoln students generally take about 3 AP subjects that too studying for 2 years…
I think the most difficult courses that you can take are Physics C: Electricity and Magnetism and Physics C: Mechanics…these subjects actually sucks…Similarly Calculus BC which is much more advanced that Calculus AB is also counted as a difficult subject…But, AP chemistry, AP Statistics are very easy subjects…If your brother is planning to study hardcore sciece than I think these courses will help him a lot not only in college but also in High school..we dont have books except some Cliff’s Guide book( which you can get in Bhrikuti pustak bhandar) so you need to study chapter wise…
But my suggestion is that it is worthless taking AP exams…it is really challenging due to the time limit…
Ask your brother to do well in school’s grade, I think that is more important…

If you want to challenge yourself than take AP…
