<p>Wow, you all apply to so many…I didn’t know it was such a big deal. I’m applying to Barnard PCP, where I’m applying ED next year. I went there last year, the class was interesting, it was in NYC, and I had a lot of fun. Is that like not prestigious or something?</p>
<p>^ To be honest, that program seems like one of those “Pay money and you get in” programs.</p>
<p>I will probably be doing research at a nearby university this summer. Free and looks pretty good to colleges.</p>
<p>Lol it probably is, only one girl I knew from it applied to Barnard, and I ended up just roaming the city with the people I met, but it was fun, and its gotta look decent on my Barnard app…the whole “showing interest”. </p>
<p>But yea, the rest of the summer I’m doing research at another prestigious NYC university with my mentor, so I’ll at least get in something academic</p>

<p>I applied to SIMR, YES, and Girl’s State. I’m also attending debate camp.
If I am admitted into SIMR, I highly doubt they’ll let me take time off for either YES or Girl’s State, and session 2 of debate camp is right after the end of SIMR, so I’ll be going to those 2. If I’m not admitted into SIMR, then camp, YES, and Girl’s State, plus I’ll probably try to intern a congressman’s office. I’m so excited for summer !</p>
