<p>Cdoyle, based on 2 years ago (my first D), they sent emails and snail mails to the finalists/scholars first. But…this year might be different.</p>
<p>My D in NJ received an email that she did not advance to be a finalist. Very disappointing, but glad to know either way.</p>
<p>still awaiting any communication from the foundation!? it’s reassuring to know that they DO send emails to all semifinalists though</p>

<p>Does anyone know if this is a one time award or if it is renewable every year in college? Also, what will we do during the weekend in Atlanta? So excited and genuinely sorry for those who didn’t get it.</p>

<p>It’s a $2,500 renewable for over four years, so a total of $10,000. During Atlanta week, we have banquets, tours of atlanta, interviews with Coca-cola, help with a community service project, and have a dance. (my sister was a past coca-cola scholar and she kept all her information)</p>
<p>It’s 6:30 am, and I just sent my kid off to a 4H event at odark thirty. Seeing this thread, I checked his email, and there it was! We were on the road yesterday returning from a 10 day road trip, and did not check. What a great wake up!!</p>

<p>Nothing here, either! Judging from twitter + the fact that some people have heard yes and some have heard no, it seems like they’re releasing decisions in waves! So stressful.</p>
