I’m totally in love with Boston College and UChicago… I’m definitely going EA there. :)

1)Harvard
2)MIT
3)Brown
4)BU 7 yr med
5)BC
6)Tufts
7)Northeastern
I love Boston. I went on a visit to Harvard and BU thursday(first college visits) and I have to say I’m really liking Harvard’s campus, its classes, students, …everything. I came out with a good sense that at Harvard, scores are important but not the most important thing; it matters more about your qualities.
I also liked BU but its campus is too “city” for me, there’s just not enough “green space” for me I really like BU’s 7 year med program

Changed again
New list

Lol any updates guys?

I’ve decided, that even though it’s a huge reach, I’m going to aim for the schools I’ve loved the most all along: MIT and Harvard. If I don’t, I know I’ll regret it. :p

I posted here a while ago, but over time, after a lot of ‘looking around,’ my preferences have changed:

Columbia SEAS ED

NYU-Poly

Reed

Haverford

UPenn

Swarthmore

Pomona

UDel

I think I’m leaning towards a LAC if my Ivy aspirations don’t quite happen. There’s always grad. school though!

Sent from my SGH-I897 using CC

Harvey Mudd = <3 to no end.

My list so far…

I just really want to go to CA, to be honest–SoCal is honestly one of my favorite places on the entire earth. Granted, I haven’t been around much, but still. I might try Berkeley, but UW in-state tuition is a better deal. I might just apply to Stanford, but I truly didn’t get that connection that everyone is describing. Yikes. D:

Penn

UVA/Mich/Georgetown/Cornell

Wake Forest/Richmond

UNC

Lehigh/Villanova

Northeastern/BU

Yep

1) Harvard/UPenn
2) Georgetown/Dartmouth/Tufts/Stanford
3) Northeastern/UNM (for merit scholarships)
4) UCLA/UCD/UCSD <–where I’ll probs end up

I just want to know where I’m going already so I can stop worrying about it.

Hahaha, this is why I love CC. I ask my friends where they want to go, and it’s like:
“Western Washington.”
“WSU.”
“Central Washington.”
“Evergreen State College.”

The number of overachievers on CC is too damn high.
For all you California kids: what makes you want to leave? Seriously. If I lived in CA I’d never want to go away.

@Mascara Omg, I know. -.- Lol. At my school, everyone’s response is like ‘uhh, idk.’ or one of our state schools. (although NY doeees have some pretty good state schools. (:)

Nice lists btw^^ I hope we all get into one of our top choices… D:

btw, since everyone else is doing their top 5…

1-2) MIT and Harvard. (If I had to choose between the two, I’d let it come down to $)
3) Columbia
4) Yale
5) Dartmouth.

…And I just realized they’re almost all ivies… Lol.

Never seen this before?
@Mascara: Earthquake? Too hot?

Anyway:

Princeton(will probably apply SCEA)

Dartmouth

Harvard

Columbia

Amherst

Middlebury

Mount Holyoke

Saint Louis University, hands down. I’ll apply to some state schools here and there as well.

I’m from Cali and I really want to leave. I mean, yeah we have nice weather but I’ve lived here my whole life. College might be the only chance I have to just go experience something new. If I hate it, I can always come back for grad school.

I’m from Iowa, and I need to get out of here for a few years, at least. I like what I’ve seen of and heard about (in a somewhat random order):

Pomona

Claremont McKenna

University of Chicago

Rice

Alabama (as the safety to which I’ll certainly apply during the summer at some point)

Northwestern U

Washington University in St. Louis

Bowdoin

My issue is discerning between each school. I’m not so sure if I want to apply to all seven (Alabama’s application is not involved at all). I know some people apply to like twenty schools, but is seven something that I’ll have a hard time doing?

^ the Common App might make it a bit easier. Depends on where you’re applying.

:P It’s my first time posting in this thread, and I swear, you guys are like awesome super overachievers. The things you guys can do.

Personally, I’m a San Diego State kind of girl. Not as fancy-schmancy, but it’s cheap, its close enough to home so I can leave if I need to, and I love it. I walked on campus, and it was literally like Choir Bells singing.

I have a 3.4 GPA, so it’s not going to be a stretch with my Church involvement and my Spirit Squad (I know, a “cheerleader”, but I’ll have you know, I’m on the Dance/Song Team!) its gonna be okay. I was planning to go for Kinesiology or Exercise Science, since they’ve got a Div I team. (I’d imagine they’d use their own facilities, and it’ll give me a better chance to study more athletic human physiology.)

Elon

Otterbein

Baldwin-Wallace

Indiana (Bloomington)
and I have other schools like Ohio Northern, Temple, Emerson, Rider and UNCO in the mix, but not ranked.
My intended major makes this a rather unusual CC list.
