GPA: Thaha bhaena, should be around 3.7-3.8, 4A's in A-level and 1 c in general paper</p>
<p>My personal essay was about my changing habits from my freshman year at high school to now and my undecided future.</p>

Rank: top 5%, transcript shows increasing trend throughout
Personal essay: even honest critics including one of my GP teacher said it was good
ECA: Vice President of a club, lot of club activites, overall my CV looked impressive enough with lots of voluntary work and co-curricular involvement, also job exp at a reputed A level college, few good internships
Recommendations: solid, a terrific supplementary recco from co-guidance counselor/house master focusing manily on my personal qualities, dedication and involvment in community
Willing to pay: $2000-5000
Result till date: Kenyon, deferred...and it did come as a shock..but now I realize I chose the wrong college</p>

<p>So guys, thats what my basic app looks like. I have started to work for my Trinity College supplement. Hope to get in ED2 at least.</p>

<p>I may apply to trinity for ED2. But I am looking at other possibilities too since many nepali apply for ED to trinity. But Im sure ill send my application there whether for Ed or RD</p>

<p>TO all those who constantly try to debunk "the monopoly myth" of BNKS/St. Xaviers:</p>
<p>around 7-8 years back, there were just handful of applicants and yes almost all of them were from BNKS, few from ST. XAviers...and even for those who were just above average in class, colgate was a safety college....kenyon was not even there as a safety.
..so ppl called it BNKS monopoly back then...now the situation has changed..ppl apply from all over Nepal...and they do get placement in good colleges....certainly, the competition level has increased tremendously..for instance if I was from 5 previous batch in BNKS, I would be applying to DUKE/ DARTMOUTH with my stats..but now I have to face the reality...so I applied to Kenyon...and look, I was not even accepted there..what an irony!....however, college reputation will always remain a positive influence for BNKS students no matter what others say.</p>
<p>so lets just stop comparing BNKS acceptance with that of Rato Bangala or so...we are not here to pull each others legs...instead, lets help ourselves in a constructive manner..
FOR NOW..can anybody suggest me a good astrologer in town??..haha..I am serious about it.</p>

<p>@bnks8: yes they say SAT I is optional there, tara I have found out that they really look for the SAT socres...je hos..I will be applying to Trinity ED2 for sure...no other options man!!</p>

u overpower me in the stats section but I have a very strong ECA record, essays and recommendation (both from my teachers and supervisor(internships haru ko)).</p>

(My ECA are tremendiously focused on my major, Computer Science), Community service in 3 international organization, 2 internships; one related computer research and one in a computer enterprise.
