Whitman College----- I have serious confusion on that part. I’m not bitter- didn’t like the school much anyway- just skeptical. In October I was planned to have an interview with a major admissions person. She was in my hometown and gave me a specific Starbuck’s address and time to meet. At the correct Starbucks (I checked the address twice) I waited. For an hour. She didn’t show (apparently she did the same to my high school when she was supposed to give a seminar- flighty much?). I literally walked around the place for two hours, asking random people if they were from Whitman. I called her and left messages twice. About an hour after I arrived another girl came in for an interview, so I know I was in the right place. As soon as I got home I got a snippy phone message from the counselor herself, telling me that if I really didn’t feel like showing up than I should have just said so. ***! I left messages with her office, cell, admissions department in general, and sent five emails. No response. It just makes me wonder- though it certainly made me think much less of them. How embarassing- for the college, that is.</p>
