why is berea that hated??

@Duke:I prefer looking at the lower end of the score. That way you will know what to least expect in the actual test. Also, Berea is hated so much because they almost accept no one.

lower end??? that’s depressing then!!!

@duke
bhai, its the normal trend that one from BNKS get in Amherst. So, keep your mind on scoring 700 on CR.

ni am from bnks i am thinking to apply to havard

i am from bnks and i am applying williams for early decision

hey, guys i was wandering if you guys can help me (specially scohfield) in chosing my Ed college.

about me

i got BBBc in my final exam and i am not from any of these colleges top A-level colleges (bnks, rbs and malpi) also i donot like to disclose my collge name. My sat score is cr-510 maths -710. i gave it last year. about the recomendation i can write it by my own. also i have already prepared my personal essay which i think is in good (not perfect ). ECA few games and sports and lot of works in computer related things(lot means alomost evrthing that i intend is enough for me). About my majors i would love to say COMPUTER engenering(going to do something in programmin )
about the finance i donot need those collegs that provide full aid.(may be i am able to pay 6-8 k )
help me in chosing colleges for ED.

@donod grinnell is nice option but i will suggest to apply this college in RD not ED, this mostly differ nepali students in ed

i heard there’s a quota for a nepali student in grinnell. so there’s going to be a hell of a competition

yes yes i have also heard that . but for 2013 1 student frm st xavier got williams this yr i think william is harder

All the things you have heard r true grennell has quota for nepali and they usually differ all nepali in ed
@davincicode
many are also applying williams but not in ed. so you have chance to be accepted…good luck…

how about middlebury… is anyone applyin there for ED… can we make a list of colleges and number of candidates applyin there… last last year… the earlier we start the merrier…

there is one frm bnks applying ED in middlebury

for 2013 a bnks got in. not a xavierian

^^^^
above post was in reply to #870

A dai from St. Xavier’s got into Williams(RD) last year('13).
So, I believe two students got into Williams last year.

btw, I received Candidate’s choice application from RPI. Does that mean anything?

@Schofield,
Is RPI’s aid really bad?

oh i was thinking only abt ED

RPI …what does it stand for???

yes two students got into williams

RPI=Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute
@lluvia: Yeah, it’s FA is pretty bad. And about that “Candidate’s choice application”. Apparently, if a student demonstrates his/her desire to attend RPI then he/she can get that application.
http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/rensselaer-polytechnic-institute/541229-candidates-choice-application.html
The only advantage(that I could find) of using a Candidates Choice Application is that applying through this application is like applying EA.
