shout to her "I LOVE YOU".......LOL.......LOL

I am a little bit ashamed: CR: 500 WR: 510 M:600

You definitely need to get it much, much higher. Break the 2000 barrier.

really, the 2000 barrier, as an athlete? oh man... shall I try to apply as a normal us citizen? I am one, but I never lived in the US... I think I should call the coach again...

tetris is right
try to cross 2000 Racoon

Yeah. Wait, how did you apply last time then? Even if you're a US citizen, a 1610 SAT is not gonna cut it

last time I applied as a International Applicant, I said in my CommonApp that I have the US passport, but lived less then one year (first year of my life) in the states. I thought being an Intl'App would higher my chances, because the weakness in the SAT would then be explained...

@Racoon- As a CC athlete, you already have the motivation and focus needed in my opinion. Just a matter of little practice. Check out the CC SAT section and Xiggi's guide. Follow that up with SERIOUS practice tests and review of each answer in the test should sling you over 2000 in all probability. But remember to BELIEVE you can do it.
Another thought, though I'm no expert- Highlight your multiple origins and composite culture in your application. If you do it smartly enough, you might be able to cover up the previous SAT a bit and also provide a cultural prospect for your selection.
But again, thats just my random thought.
@rt- Superficially, very typical. But its got a great deal more to it than the average Bollywood flick.
@tt- Maybe, just maybe when the time is right, I'll be freed from a certain promise I made to someone. Its a highly tangled web with a pretty absorbing history and half a dozen characters :P But I won't go into the details. Don't wanna bore people on what was 'supposed' to be a college discussion thread.

You sure lead an interesting life, gary :D

Don't we all? Except we don't care to appreciate the oppurtunities life presents at times....

Yes, and we do so only to look back at them a little while later and rue missing them.

Guys, read this thread: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/parents-forum/688821-should-princeton-dd-choice-if-i-want-her-hobnob-snob-kids.html

Friggin' hilarious!

epic thread tet!

It really gets you ROFLing, doesn't it?

Hey, didn't Carlton Banks from The Fresh Prince Of Bel Air get into Princeton (his dream school) :D?

Yep! Whenever I tell people I'm applying to Princeton they're like "I know that... where do I know it from?" and I say "Carlton on the Fresh Prince...?" and they're all "OH YEAH!! Carlton!"

^Ha ha, whenever I tell my brother I'm applying to Princeton he says the exact same thing :P. The very name connotes snootiness, lol.

Bah. What do brothers know. Princeton is grrreat! Go tigers!

Brothers are different specimens :)
