So pumped!!
In no particular order…

University College Dublin
Trinity College
University College Cork
Ave Maria University
Saint Bonaventure University
Spring Hill College
Texas a&M
University of Dallas
Wheeling Jesuit University

University of California – all campuses except Merced and Riverside
Carnegie Mellon School of Computer Science (doubt I’ll get in but worth a shot)

Other than that, I’m not sure. I might apply to another private university or two, but this is pretty much it.

I’m probably going to apply to these schools… (in no particular order)

University of Virginia
University of Minnesota
Case Western
Princeton
Penn
American U
George Washington
George Mason
Boston U
William & Mary
NYU
UM-College Park
Fordham U

Come to think of it, my list is tiered as well. UMass and Bentley are my clear top two, then it’s [3-8], then my safeties are far behind, especially William Paterson.

My list:
Barnard College (ED)
Wellesley College
Vassar College
Bucknell University
Smith College
Williams College
Lafayette College
Bard College
Sarah Lawrence College
Lehigh University

I really like liberal arts colleges… I want to major in Neuroscience and be premed. Spent summer before junior and senior year doing Huntington’s disease research as an intern. Also editor in chief of school newspaper, president of the forensics team and huff post teen blogger.

Everyone here has giant lists! You can’t actually want to go to ALL of these schools? And even if you did, there is no way you can write tremendous essays for every school! I am only considering 3 at the moment.
Sanford
Clemson
Georgia Tech
Yes, I understand having safety’s and reaches and what ever. But you don’t need 3/4 safety’s. Applying to a couple of ivy’s is understandable because you could get in one but not the other just from holistic admissions. But that should be the only reason to apply to more than 4/5 schools!

Well I think some people realize some schools will differ in the FA packages that they offer, as well as merit aid, etc. That’s the reason my list is around 8-10 at the moment and will be narrowed down to 8 soon. I don’t know /exactly/ what I want to do and there are a bunch of different major/minor combos that I can do at different schools. So yeah.

Also to add to my list from earlier, I might EA Babson.

My new list:

USNWR Top 2000

The only reason I’m applying to 12 schools is for financial aid reasons. UVA is my clear top choice, but I’m not 100% sure I can get in (especially with their ~20% OOS admissions rate). I need affordable backups in case I don’t get in.

If you’re applying to UVA, USC might be able to provide ample financial aid, both in scholarships and in financial aid packages

My tentative list: (in no particular order after my top choice)

A pretty condensed list. Temple and Penn State are my safeties.

Virginia Tech

UVA

George Mason

James Madison

Christopher Newport

U of MD

William and Mary

(maybe) University of Illiniois at Urbana-Champaign

As it turns out, I’ll have to delete three schools from my list, which would trim it to eight schools. Although Syracuse would be my favorite college basketball team if I paid enough attention, and I have a high respect for their academic tradition, I don’t hold any affection to that school. Fairfield hung up on me yesterday, and Monmouth is too white. Lol

Again revised, so far cut down from 12-14 schools to 8 or 9:

I’m looking at several colleges, but currently am most likely to apply to Ohio State with WVU as my safety.

SUNY Upstate Medical University

Keuka College

I’m a sophomore but this is my list as of now:

Still researching and looking at more schools

Harvard
Yale
Stanford
Duke
Vanderbilt
Georgia Tech
University of Georgia
