Congrats…what a relief for your family…now you all can relax the rest of senior year. :)

I’m thinking of all that expertise now without any immediate practical use! Don’t you maybe want one kid to break one of the ED agreements (we can discuss THAT for awhile) and apply to some public u’s honors program?

Big CONGRATS to PG & twins! I’m very happy for your family. Please share your wisdom on the current 3.6 thread.

That is great news! Congrats all around!

Congratulations, Pizzafamily!

Simply outstanding. Congrats to all of you and how AWESOME to have it done! I’m sure both kids will love their schools. Wow!!!

I said congrats over on FB last night, but just saw this on CC and want to congratulate you again here! So exciting! I’m glad we found each other on CC and reconnected after all these years (that ridiculous greek thread - LOL).

You will have such a great time now on the accepted students threads over on the NU and Wellesley boards. I met someone on the UDel board last year after D was accepted and, it turns out, her D and mine are on the same floor in their UDel residence hall and are very good friends. (Shout out to JBE if you happen upon this thread!) No reason to stop visiting cc, even after your acceptances!

I am planning a trip out to NU with my S next year (tour/info session for him, football game for me). I will let you know when. I’m sure you will be around campus… I told S that your son was accepted ED and how cool that was and he agreed… not that I’m trying to influence him or anything

Now you can all relax! How awesome! Send my best to pizza-husband too!

What great news - though somehow I’m not surprised. I too thought the essay writing process was good for my kids.

Pizzagirl, I posted last night, but CC ate it! Congrats to both your kids – terrific schools, and they must be so excited!

I guess you may now begin the “things to buy and pack” thread! :)

Hey, great news, PG! But…does Wellesley have sororities??

Great news! Congrats to all of you.

Congratulations…so glad that both pizzatwins received acceptances!! You can relax, for now, anyway…wait until August!

You obviously have wonderful kids. Congrats to them!!

Some of my D’s friends starting hearing about ED. One into an Ivy, another not. Lots of excitement and anxiety. My D is waiting on EA from Clark, hopefully next week; she’ll have to wait until February to hear from the other EA schools (most notably Dickinson), then April for the last two. That seems like years off in the future!

Pizzagirl, congrats to your twins. I have been following your story for a while (starting on the under 3.6 thread) and love that you always stick up for “fly-over” country. Signed, another suburban Chicago mom. Congrats to your kids and hope they enjoy the rest of their senior year.

Congrats, Pizzagirl and family.

Relax and enjoy Senior year.

Great news, PG!! Congrats to all.

Thank you! I do still want to thank you and your D for your hospitality at Bryn Mawr … it was a very strong #2 choice for D and she was planning to apply ED II there if Wellesley didn’t work out.

My S got accepted in Rose Hulman .He wants to do mechanical Engineering. Should he apply in few more colleges. He is looking for small class size college

Congrats to all above on your S/Ds’ acceptances!

Stayed home w/ flu yesterday. Good thing - FedEx truck showed up at 1:30pm from Rochester. Figured it was good news, as why would they send a “Sorry, but no…” letter via FedEx?!

D home at 3:30…Yes! A personalized letter to boot.

Congrats on all the acceptances!
