Only 3 and a half more days haha. We’ll all just have to wait and see

Two more days guys!!

hey guys! i’m from chicago here and insanely nervous. I’ve had countdown for like 80 days, only 2874 minutes left!!!

hey! I’m terrified of Thursday… I’ve been thinking more and more about my application and realized I made so many stupid mistakes, each of which could cost me an acceptance :(

I did the same thing all of november, but i’ve been trying to force myself to relax during december…needless to say its not working! hopefully we will all be classmates next year.

anyone else from chicago/illinois/midwest
hope to meet you all next fall

I have actual school stuff I should be doing right now but I just keep refreshing this page and looking up CMC admission statistics… ugh so not helping. I’m from the Northeast

i’m from ohio and yeah hopefully we all get accepted! i’m so nervous too. i haven’t even started any other applications…

Me neither! I can’t get myself to start any applications until I physically see a rejection from CMC.

out of interest what other schools is everyone looking at
i’m trying to find more like CMC but i can’t seem to find any
any thoughts?

I haven’t found a school similar to CMC so I’d like to know this as well.

If they accept more people ED, it will keep the overall acceptance rate low, because the yield will be higher. My best friend already received her rejection letter from Stanford, a week early (we were supposed to know at the same time). She was heartbroken and was crying over the phone, and I felt so bad for her, and bad for myself. That might be me on Thursday. Dear Santa, all I want is an acceptance letter from CMC. Ah, sleepless nights.

@pepperminty. I haven’t been able to find any similar schools either :/. Maybe USC, Occidental?

i thought that Vanderbilt has the same liberal arts/ professional blend as CMC
though it obviously is very different, i thought it felt a bit like CMC, more like any other school has

@djames6336 I’ve know of Vanderbilt, but never really thought of it as a professional school. What I like most about CMC is that the student body seems pretty homogeneous and that it has a focus. I think Georgetown is similar, it has strong government/pre-law/international relations departments.

Yeah, I don’t think Vanderbilt is a good match for CMC. I have to agree that Georgetown seems pretty close, if you don’t mind that it’s not a LAC, of course.

Oh gosh im so nervous that i cannot go to bed.

I also think Vandy is not a match for CMC. i have visited bith schools but CMC is much more vibrant and lively.

I think Georgetown, Babson, Emory, Davidson, Tulane are similar

Yeah I agree with Georgetown. I also thought Tufts was sort of similar. Pomona maybe?

Hope to see you all accepted (along with me :P) and see you soon!

romantic ninja you at school today lol?

nvm, I saw you post at 7:40 and thought you stayed in.

O n e d a y !!!

i must be biased about Vandy cause the one person i know who goes there is very CMC-ish
but i agree about davidson and emory, im applying to both if i don’t get in to CMC

its gonna be hard to sleep tonight
good luck all
