<p>Whether or not I’m even going to attempt to transfer will depend on my final GPA. Socially, I feel well adjusted to the college I’m currently at. However, if I decide to transfer it would be have to be based on academics. I’m in physics, but I frankly have no idea how the undergraduate physics program at Umass Amherst compares to other undergraduate programs in that area. So far my I’m disappointed in the lack of rigor most “gen-ed” classes have as well as many large intro classes. But of course, the classes that really do count for my career will mainly be the higher level physics classes I’ll be taking my junior and senior year. My long term career goals are to eventually go into grad school, but I still don’t know which area of research I want to go into.</p>
