Class of 2017 (From Nepal) - Official Discussion Thread. . .

Hey guys,

Looking for SAT as well as SAT II Prep resources on the web. Any sort of help would be appreciated.

[Crouch88’s Ultimate SAT Prep&Test Ebooks Collecti (download torrent) - TPB](http://thepiratebay.se/torrent/5377626/)
go to the link and download the books for SAT I …
Some of the books are really good!!
( I hope you know how to download the torrent files)
Or else if you don’t know then , go to
[µTorrent - a (very) tiny BitTorrent client](http://www.utorrent.com)
click on “get utorrent”
then click “free download”
Your download will start, when finished, install it
And then you can do the things from the very beginning as I have mentioned
hope that helps!!!

And any suggestions for SAT II books will be highly appreciated!

cmon guys, a little help for SATII would be highly appreciated!! :D

I have appeared for the TOEFL once, and got a score of 98. Was aiming for a 100 though. Speaking ruined a nice run (got just 19). :(

Is 100 a stereotyped score, or is it definitely a good score? What is the difference between a 98 and 100, if there is, anyway. Should I bother wasting another 160 Dollars for a 100 in TOEFL, or should I be content with my current score, and continue to work on my application?

Cmon guys, I am in a dilemma right now. Help me out here.

Unless you’re sure you’re getting 115+, don’t bother.

Namaste Nepali sathi haru.
I recently got my Grades in A levels.
BIO- B
PHY-B
CHEM-B

Hi everyone! Looks like this thread’s getting silent these days. Perhaps like @macmurderharder said.

yeah, it’s time to give this thread a little bit momentum !
October 6 is coming near and so are the deadlines !
And everyone is ready with his/her applications.
Best of luck guys, Shoot your best

so, I guess it would be informative if we could chip in our ideas and/or queries regarding applications.

Also, I guess we could reveal our ED institutions, eh?? :P

@macmurder:
The other thread has been created for the discussions on ED/EA colleges.
Hope to see you there !

hello everyone…i assume everyone is in his/her toes for the oct. 6 SAT. All the best.

Though my question is, maybe a little bit stupid, does anyone know the guy/girl who got into Harvard for 2016? I just saw the Harvard website and it says it has Nepali student for the class of 2016. I checked in other threads here, but couldn’t find anything. So does anybody know the person? Maybe someone from your school? I am just very very curious because I am applying to Harvard, and have good scores, and very much wanted to get a perspective from someone who has been accepted.

could be a nepali citizen living in the US (went to high school in the US).
There is a difference between “International Students” and “Countries represented”

so how did the SATs go, mateys??? :D

I’m sure most of us did good!!

Well, my SAT was pretty bad,
Didn’t go that well :frowning:
I guess I will again take it in December!
