<p>The admissions office is working today, because I called to see if there was any news about when the scholarship decisions would be available. She told me, “sometime this month,” so that wasn’t very helpful.</p>
<p>Last year it was around 4:40pm, though some people said they got emails earlier than that. It hasn’t been consistent though…at least I don’t think.</p>

<p>@compnerd1000: Very true, I periodically (as in every 5 minutes or so) check this forum just to see if anyone else posted an update. The anticipation is mentally draining… Hard to concentrate on homework.</p>

<p>I hate the waiting. Butttttttt while I had really had a lot of hope before I happened upon this thread yesterday, my hope is just about gone now…maybe one droplet left. Or not even. Not wanting to be negative, it’s just the absence of the phone call!!</p>

<p>My son got a call about Langsdorf Friday night. He was accepted ED. We are so excited.</p>
<p>I feel bad if my post upset people. That definitely wasn’t the intention. Yes, the admissions office and scholarship office are separate but they’re both in Brookings Hall and they’re not strangers to one another. Not currently, but a few years ago, one of the admissions officers was also on Ervin staff. </p>
<p>And to be fair I said “as far as she knows.” So sure, some calls may very well have gone out already that she hadn’t heard about.</p>
<p>I sincerely hope that everyone gets the news that they’re hoping for but at least know this: most people LOVE wherever they end up going. I think WashU is awesome but my friends who went to Duke, Penn, etc. say the same about their schools. Not trying to be trite, just putting everything in context!</p>
