I’m thinking of only preparing for the ACT, along with SAT 2 Subject tests. Although I do regret not taking any testing yet
I’m probably taking the one old one first. Then, I will take the PSAT and see if I do better on that to decide whether to take a second old one or a new SAT.
^You can probably evaluate your prowess just as well by taking a practice test in a test-like environment
I took ACT in June and February, taking SAT in March and ACT again in June. Might take SAT again depending on how I do.
Exceeded my expectations on the February ACT and got a 36 but I’m still taking the SAT in May because my PSAT score is pretty much a guarantee for NMSF(so I can move up to NMF next February) and then taking the Math 2 and Physics Subject Tests in June.
For now:
March - Take SAT a second time (first time taking the redesigned one)
May - Take SAT subject tests for U.S. History and Math
June - Take ACT (might take this earlier)
Took SAT and got an okay score (2230 superscore)
Took Math II last year and got an alright score (760)
Taking US history subject test in May one day after APUSH exam
Taking ACT in September / October. Taking SAT Chem in October / November
I am taking the ACT and the SAT this year to better my chances at getting into a good school.
I took the ACT last year and I’ll take it again in June.
Take the SAT one time, ACT 2 times, and the new SAT 2 times. I will probably take 3 subject tests.
Honestly, the new SAT isn’t that bad. It’s just a bit different. It isn’t being transformed into a totally extraterrestrial test that is impossible to complete. It’s similar to the ACT. Just study and you’ll be fine.
