I sort of had this “feeling” that once acceptances/rejections from schools that claim to meet 100% of student needs are release, with offers not meeting what they claimed, - BEREA forum would see more ACTION…
I know for some people, this is now their “ONLY HOPE”.
BEST OF LUCK EVERYONE.

Fingers Crossed! :)

Sure rejected ^:)^

@kkc0055, You might never know until you receive the envelope.
@Createadent, That’s all you can do now - wait and hopefully the good-news gets to you all soon.

ya, you are also right. Just few hours to go.

@ccco2018 when will we start getting our decisions? I am an international student.

i got an email right now, rejected.

@createadent; Starting today I suppose. It said all International students should have their letters or notification on or before April 15th. So It sounds like the decision has already been made and letters sent out already, or at-least going out this week. Maybe of the International applicants can call to verify that. Crunch time ladies and gentlemen…BEST OF LUCK.

@KKC0055; SO SORRY to hear that. Did get in anywhere else that you see yourself attending?

ya, i got an admission from five colleges. i will join one which has nice financial award.

Rejected!! :’(

I’ve been admitted!!!

@Kkc0055; That’s great news, I am glad you have options. Sorry BC did not work out for you, but I am sure you find a good fit in from the options you have. best of luck.

@Createadent: VERY SORRY to hear that. I hope you do have other options for enrollment this fall. Best of luck.

@Maryutkina: CONGRATULATIONS TO YOU. Glad to see an acceptance. It was discussed earlier that this year BC received quite an increase in application.

@ccco2018 Berea was my last hope :(

@Createadent: It is sad that you might not be enrolled in school this fall. However, If none of the state schools with affordable tuition for international students work for you, you can use this year to work, volunteer, and prepare your applications for next year cycle. In doing so - apply as soon as the cycle is open. It will not hurt re-applying to Berea college in AUGUST, once the new cycle is open. It goes further to show them of your interest and most of all, that you could not afford to go anywhere else. “DO NOT USE IT AS A DETERMINANT OF YOUR MAXED POINT TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN LIFE”. I know It might be easier said than done, but BELIEVE IN YOURSELF - A DOOR WILL OPEN FOR YOU.

How many years do we spend just for applying berea c? A friend of mine got rejected last year and he also applied this year but, rejected. He said that they asked him to apply this year and he had almost hope that he will get in. But, berea did not consider that. He is good applicant. Finally, he got into Pitzer College with full funding.

@kkc0055: I would not recommend that anyone just keep waiting for one college. Taking a GAP year off usually benefit people that want to improve on their scores, essays, voluntary or work experience, then reapply the following year. In doing that, one has to be sure that they diversify their list enough to include very possible safeties. Like your friend did, and luckily got acceptance to Pitzer, which by the way is a great school as well.
I am not sure how many time you can re-apply to BC, but I would say twice (consecutively); seems reasonable, especially if the first time around, one did not get into any other school that they can attend.
However, i would say that it is a great idea to mention that on your essay and interview that its your second time around and the reason you could not go anywhere else.

Rejected also. I am going to apply to MSU, Mankato. Hopefully, they will accept me. Any advice on which college to apply to (with rolling admissions). I am looking for a cheap state college that is in a relatively big city (around 40,000 population) and offers some kind of scholarship (even if it be $1000). Any suggestions?
