Let’s bank on the 21st then

Dang I won’t be home to read it. State competition will keep me away from the computer!

Well I will be at a concert so if I get back news, all the more reason to have a good time that night.

19 more days left until decision day. I’ll probably be at home when I get it. I’m not gonna lie, I’m kinda nervous.

wait, so do they release decisions online?

yes on the portal

Will they send any likely letters to engineering students before then?

^ Usually a week or two before decisions are released

It looks like this year UCLA Bruins day is on April 19.
http://www.bruinday.ucla.edu/

Will the Engineering open house be on the same day?
We are trying to plan our college visits as my son has never visited a single school yet.

I’m not 100% on this but I think the engineering open house for prospective students is held the day after Bruin Day

^^^ This year, April 20 is Easter Sunday.

Too bad UCLA won’t pay for admitted students to see the campus. I’m in Illinois and will have to be buying a plane ticket to see the school if I am accepted.

UCLA Decisions are most likely to come out on March 21, because looking back at recent years, they usually release them 6 days before Berkeley does and on a Friday, so this year it would be Friday March 21, 2014. Good luck to all from my heart!

Hellooooo, my fellow applicants! Just thought I’d wish you all good luck—I can’t wait for decisions to come out! Hopefully we’ll all receive good news.^^

Good luck everyone! Keep calm and enjoy your senior year!

my son’s unweighted GPA 3.93 and act is 26. is there some possibilities ? He already accepted Cal Poly, prestigious Univ.

the definitions of terms in these documents are different, the first is those admitted of those who applied (regardless of whether they ended up attending), but they are the best data we have, to my knowledge. Note that they use UC gpa which gives a bump up for certain AP courses and doesn’t use grades like PE:

How hard is it to get into UCLA compared to UCSD? I just got accepted to SD but I’m not sure if if UCLA is similar D:

UCLA is harder to get into

From Ms Sun’s UC Admissions Blog -
“UCLA - all decisions will become available at Admission Decisions on March 21, 2014 (confirmed via UC Counselors and Advisers Bulletin: March 2014 received on March 11, 2014)”
