I remember reading something from either class of '18 or '17 that posted denials and everyone seemed to understand that they were the only ones getting rejected. so i’ll kick it off with a no from CCM and a no from Baldwin Wallace. happy hunting!

So sorry to hear that @MTVT2015, just means it wasn’t the right school for you!
I’ve had a host of no’s already, two after Unifieds and one from December (plus prescreens) but I also got my first acceptance into a great school after doing a walk-in for them that I really like- which feels so great! 
@attheballet Congrats! Which school did you get into? I honestly don’t mind rejections at all! I kind of went into this expecting nothing but rejections so I’m honestly just glad that I already got in somewhere I want to go
I told my kid this is like that game show Deal or No Deal. The briefcases are the schools and One by one they’ll start to disappear. (“Damn, there goes CMU”… Crowd goes “awwww” when Mich. disappears). It’s just the way the game is played. At the end of the game, he’ll have a case to open too.
^I LOVE THAT. I’ve thought of it that way since the beginning.
So some of the Unified schools will send rejections right away? Via snail or email. Or are these schools you auditioned on campus?

The on site no’s at Unifieds are brutal – Juilliard, CMU, DePaul for my d. Even tho she “knew” the odds were not in her favor, they still really stug and brought her down…
Stay positive @astute12 - hopefully the next news will be happy news. I am curious about the onsite “no” from CMU- did they actually SAY that, or was she just not “passed to Barbara”? I haven’t heard of them saying anything definitive at the auditions.
